Masters from around the globe advise us not only to “know” but to act on our ideas without fear or doubt. For example, you realize you need to apologize to someone; now it is time to muster the courage and do it. In the case of Diamond Construction’s founders, it is now time to make phone calls and meet with prospective customers. As in the natural world, acting is the logical extension of life. When the time is right, a pine tree drops a cone. The pumpkin plant releases its blossoms. The cat gives birth and nurtures her young. Systems return to stability through action.
Communication is the corresponding “exhale” to the “inhale” of listening that takes place in the Fire phase. We learn something, and then we respond. We notice that something is true, and we express it and complete the cycle. All our actions are a form of communication. We communicate through words, through art, and through building new structures. Communication is easy if we have truly listened to head, gut, and heart and now have the courage to act.
